Assessing and Driving Innovation in Sport Organisations Across Europe

Innovation is the key to progress, and the Sport Innovation Index project is paving the way for a brighter, more innovative future in sports. Our mission is to empower sport organizations to understand their innovation levels, improve their governance, and become leaders in the field of innovation.

Inspired by the European Innovation Scoreboard and the Dutch Sport Innovation Monitor, we are developing the Sport Innovation Index to help public authorities refine their policies in sport innovation. This tool is designed for local and regional sport organizations, small businesses, and both public and private entities, providing them with a quick self-assessment of their innovation capabilities.

Our self-assessment tool delivers an instant diagnosis of an organization's level of innovation, along with tailored recommendations to improve innovation governance. By collecting data from users, we aim to map the landscape of sport innovation across Europe.

This project is about more than measuring innovation—it’s about fostering a culture that drives creativity and progress. Our tool supports sport organizations in enhancing their standing, comparing results over time or with other entities, and setting new standards in innovation.
