The Amsterdam Centre for Business Innovation (ACBI) is a premier knowledge centre within the Amsterdam Business School, University of Amsterdam. The Amsterdam Business School belongs to the 1% of the business schools in the world with a Triple Crown accreditation. ACBI develops and disseminates new knowledge and insights that help firms, sectors and regions to strengthen their innovation-driven competitiveness, thereby serving both the business community and society. Its mission is to support stakeholders in their efforts to enhance the innovation and business performance of organizations, ecosystems, industries, and regions within Europe by focusing on business-related innovations in the broadest sense. ACBI combines solid research experience and state-of-the-art academic insights with validated methods and instruments to offer tailor-made service offerings to a variety of clients. For instance, ACBI has vital expertise and experience in conducting scientifically validated innovation monitors in various sectors, such as sports, logistics, health care, construction, and IT which are based on a systemized method to measure the level of innovativeness.

The Mulier Institute was founded in 2002 and is the only independent, non-profit, scientific sport-research institute in the Netherlands. As such, it is engaged in fundamental, practice-focused and policy relevant social-scientific sport research. It monitors the developments within the Dutch sports sector. It builds its own databases and trend series to this end, in close cooperation with academic and professional universities both in the Netherlands and abroad as well as with other research organisations and statistical administrative bodies, such as CBS Statistics Netherlands and Eurostat.

Cluster Sports & Technology, rooted in the Brainport region—The Netherlands' top technology hub, is a dynamic network of businesses, sports field labs, governments, and knowledge institutions. Established in 2005 by TNO and regional partners, the Cluster leverages Brainport's strengths in sports, technology, design, health, and business to drive innovation and impact.

With over 130 member companies (mostly SMEs), 10 sports field labs, and key partners like IMEC NL, TNO, TU/e, and Fontys University of Applied Sciences, the Cluster fosters collaboration for a vital, active society. Technology and open innovation power its economic and social contributions.

Managed by a non-profit foundation with a dedicated team of five, the Cluster supports business innovation and living lab development. Its board represents the Q-helix partners, with public authorities in an advisory role. As a DEAB (SGEI), it holds a regional mandate for sports and vitality innovation.

Striving for impact, Cluster Sports & Technology holds the Bronze Cluster Excellence label, awarded by ESCA.

4iCV is a non-profit organization established in 2022 to promote research, development, and innovation (R&D&I) in sports in the Valencian Community. It originated from collaborative efforts in 2018-2019 during the development of the Generalitat Valenciana’s sports strategic plan and the European Inno4sports project.

Improving outcomes for grassroots sport and participation using evidence-based analysis and methodologies. Our technology delivers a holistic view on participation and competition, recognising that data systems in sport are rarely independent and work better when integrated. We help municipal, regional and national organisations improve, simplify and report on athletic development; safeguarding, finance and compliance; participation and impact reporting; and the promotion and engagement of sports facilities, trails & amenities and open events.
